Performance Classic 900 Engine Mount Kit
Over time and when engines are modified, the mounts do a poor job of keeping the engine and transmission in place. Since the transmission is linked through a single-piece shaft, any misalignment can cause excess shifter movement or pop out of gear. Many poor-quality aftermarket mounts exist that resume the factory shape, but offer little in terms of performance or longevity.
Machined from 6061 Aluminum and utilizing an off-the-shelf Powerflex bushing insert, this mount will last the lifetime of the vehicle.
Made in the USA.
Barrel-Style engine mount is designed to replace the early front mounts used on all non-turbo/automatic or the older (Pre-1987) classic 900 turbos in the US.
Hydraulic mounts were used '87-onwards for the sides on all 900s and the fronts on the turbos. Although this mount is to be designed to be used universally in all locations, the front location is recommended first, followed by the passenger side for high-horsepower applications. The more of these mounts used, the more vibration will be felt. In race applications, all three are recommended. If used in the driver-side location, the "J" bracket must be removed for clearance. Kit includes 1 mount housing, bushing set, and any special installation hardware.

Installation Notes: O-ring provided to keep bolt in place while fitting the mount to the front position. It can be discarded once everything is in place.
Note: Mounts are not symmetrical (bushing is not centered between two holes) so it is important that it is installed in the correct orientation retaining the slotted and round hole sides as original mounts. The MCS logo will be on the right side of the vehicle (Passenger Side on LHD) for the front mount. On the side mounts the logo will be on the front side of the car.
