"Unbreakable" Oil Filler Neck (Dipstick Tube)
Having a share of broken filler tube necks prompted me to find a solution to another NLA’d part. The result is using a thicker wall tube which can be easily manipulated into the final shape with a little heat. Since removing the original (and often misshapen) top funnel can be a struggle, I decided to create a complete filler neck assembly, just like how the original replacement part was offered. I’ve also pre-fitted an installation helper on to aid in attachment to the existing barb fitting on the transmission end (oil pan).
