Hi,

I've been a SAAB enthusiast pretty much my entire adult life. I can't really answer why, but things just sort of clicked and the marque has been a driving force (no pun intended) in my life ever since my first test drive as a College Sophomore.

Why SAAB?

I suppose it is totally normal for any person to ask when they learn about a proclivity for THE quirky brand. To be fair, it isn't just SAABs that I find appealing, or all SAABs either. I have just invested an inordinate amount of time and mental energy into the "classics", mostly the 99/900 generation. The SAAB 900 has been a constant, despite whatever else is changing in my life. Like a great song that brings you back to a fond memory or state of mind, driving a SAAB 900 never fails to impress me, even in the states I tend to have them in.

So What? SAAB is dead!

Technically, most SAAB models "died" off (and every other generational car model) well before SAAB went into bankruptcy in 2012. I don't see how just because the company doesn't make any new cars is a reason not to support and celebrate what it did when it was still producing them. If you are reading this, you probably know exactly what I'm talking about, so here lies the crux of this post...

After nearly 20 years of driving, racing, restoring, and hoarding/collecting these classic SAABs, I'd like to do my part in keeping the appeal alive. My goal is two-fold, inspiring passion and enthusiasm in others and delivering the highest-quality products possible.

Modern Classic SAAB

I've always been interested in modification and engineering but also appreciate the struggle for preservation. Keeping with the original design intent, but perhaps applying new materials or new manufacturing techniques to improve or just make available products that were around in the heyday of SAAB. Sometimes it's a modification for the sake of looks, performance, or utility. Whatever it is, with the advent of micro-manufacturing and procedures, small batches of high-quality precision parts can now be available without a huge price tag, made proudly right here in the USA.
